Whew!! That was fun. Didn’t do quite as much hiking and exploring as wished, due to the abnormally hot weather {mid 90s eeek!}! It was great anyhow… just getting out and enjoying quiet time and lazily hunting for a spots of shade to sit and sketch. I’ve got tons of practice to go in the realm of life painting. Someday, I want to look out into a scene and draw the essence of it, confidently. Until then, I will simply enjoy the challenge!

These sketches are gorgeous. The flowers are exquisite and quite beautiful. The forest road and the red rocks scenes are quite picturesque and would make lovely scenery for a movie.
Wow! The wild flowers are amazing!
Love the photo’s. They give me that really warm summer feeling.
Your background in some of your sketches is rather strange tough.
