Yelm’s Passage graphite and gouache on cotton watercolor paper 18 x 14

New piece “Yelm’s Passage” for this weekend’s Motion: The Art of Movement group exhibition @  Corey Helford Gallery in Culver City, the exhibition will open June 9th 7-10pm. Below are a few progress images, I started the piece as a complete drawing then carefully tinted with transparent and opaque gouache for hints of color and layering. This technique is my favorite way to draw nowadays… identical to my last piece “Golden Cay”.
